I ordered this with the thought of making S’mores during the cold winter months with my family and friends. Little did I know it would be a life saver this fall due to a drought that had forced a fire ban. The mini fire pit is made from a concrete material. It is heavy and heavy duty. It also is the perfect shape to keep from tipping over. It is small enough to be tucked away, but also looks nice on the countertop. It has a very simple, sleek design. The console that you fill with alcohol and a wick will burn for enough time for everyone to make all the snores they want. When it does run out, a refill of alcohol does the trick. (Not usually something that we have to worry about.) We have been enjoying using this mini fire pit all fall long. I feel better using this with my 2.5 year old daughter than our big fire pit. It is smaller, safer, but just as effective in making the perfect roasted marshmallow. It is also the perfect size to pack up and bring with us on vacation.
I have a few of these but I think I like this one the best. For starters it has a nice lid which some of my others didn't come with. It's a nice touch for when not in use. I'm not exactly sure why it has the middle liner though. It may just to make it so the stone doesn't get nasty (which my others have).

I assume that the fire bowl would be a bit larger than it is but outside of that that's my only real concern and it's not necessarily a concern more than it's me not looking at the dimensions prior to ordering items.The bowl runs on standard run of the mill isopropyl otherwise known as rubbing alcohol. It's a clean, smokeless burn which means you can use it indoors relatively safely.The appearance of the bowl is a nice finished concrete. It could fit on just about any table due to its small size.
